ZambiaNow
Editorial methodology
This methodology explains how ZambiaNow turns source material into useful local information without treating every source as equally authoritative.
Sources and provenance
Material may come from official or organiser-controlled pages, public datasets, direct business submissions, confirmed content partners and other reviewed public sources. A URL, domain name or a word such as "partner", "official" or "organiser" is not proof of a relationship. Partner and official labels require explicit recorded provenance.
Checks before and after publication
Checks may include identity and location, dates, opening information, contact details, duplication, source consistency, image rights and whether a useful next action exists. Automation may assist discovery, extraction, deduplication and monitoring. It does not turn an unconfirmed source into a partner or official source.
Freshness labels describe the latest recorded check, not a guarantee that a third party has made no later change. Readers should confirm time-sensitive prices, availability, restrictions and bookings with the named provider.
Selection and rankings
ZambiaNow prioritises usefulness, factual completeness, freshness, geographic relevance and confidence in the source. Inclusion is not an award or endorsement. "Best" claims should require a stated method and sufficient evidence; payment alone cannot create such a claim or improve an independent editorial position.
Supplied and commercial material
Material supplied under a confirmed relationship should be identified in context. Sponsored or paid work must be labelled, and its scope, usage rights and approval process agreed separately. A partner may correct facts about its own service but does not control unrelated editorial coverage.
Corrections and accountability
Substantive factual errors should be corrected when supported by reliable evidence. A page may be updated, qualified, unpublished or retained with context depending on the issue. Use the corrections process for factual errors and the takedown process for rights, privacy or safety concerns.
